The walkway has eroded to the extent that the stones used in the casting are showing. Only recently, a resident in the area, having recognised the discomfort of both passengers and drivers, installed steel plates to cover the holes.Vehicles traversing the area have to negotiate onto the steel plates. This has caused great inconvenience to many, including commuters. Commuters are, therefore, calling for a re-casting of the walkway in an effort to prevent further erosion and deterioration.last_img read more
