Most British holidaymakers are intending to spend the same amount on their holiday this year as they did in 2008, a new survey has revealed.The poll, conducted by YouGov on behalf of Carnival UK, showed that 78 percent of British travellers were not planning on spending less money during this year’s trip.Almost a third said they were intending to spend more, indicating that the recession will not affect the amount of money people in Britain spend on their main holiday.David Dingle, Carnival UK’s chief executive officer, said: “The findings from YouGov have confirmed for us that there are still plenty of holidaymakers out there planning a holiday for 2009 despite the current economic situation.”Asked what they would be willing to give up in order to fund their two-week trip, holidaymakers said that pet food and savings were the only things that were more financially important.It was also revealed that travellers missed their own bed more than friends, family or pets while on holiday.A recent survey conducted by Visa and the Pacific Asia Travel Association revealed that British travellers were less likely to alter their holiday plans because of concerns about the economy. Are they friends of yours?”His remarks; so offensive not only because he perpetuates that old soybean that all black people know each other, but the optics of a rich and powerful white man, suggesting this black female journalist do some menial task for him as though she were the help, were sickening.But Trump knows what he is doing by creating such controversy. He is getting the food his bottomless pit of narcissism craves and he knows the tools to do so.
